Description
Pressure reduction valve DRV/E is used at high input static pressure.
The arrow on the valve body indicates the direction of flow.
The pressure reduction valve is fitted with the valve cover facing upwards or lying straight to the side, with the adjusting screw readily accessible. On either side of the valve housing is 1 x connection ¼" for a pressure gauge. The pipeline after the valve must have a straight section of at least 5 times nom. dimension.
Dirt filters are fitted if there is any risk of contamination that may damage the seal faces of the valve.
Select a suitable pressure reduction valve using the pressure drop and cavitation diagram as a guide.
The preferred max. pressure is adjusted at 0 flow and at a system pressure after the valve that is lower than the intended max. pressure.
Pressure reduction increases when the adjusting screw is turned clockwise.
The pressure reduction valve does not require maintenance.
