Description
Backflow preventer 9C CA is used in tapwater installations to fluid category 3. Backflow preventer 9C CA has dual non-return valves and a pressure-controlled intermediate chamber with drainage.
In the standard, the filling module unit is termed a “protective device”. To meet the standard’s function inspection requirement, protective devices must be fitted as a “protective module”, i.e. be supplemented with the following equipment, in the direction of flow: Shut-off valve, Drain for inspection, Dirt filter, Filling module (protective device), Shut-off valve. When installing, the standard’s installation requirements must be followed.
The filling module does not require maintenance. Any checks are carried out according to a regular inspection plan.
