In order to support our customers in their efforts to achieve their environmental and climate objectives, we have now introduced CO_2e reporting for most of our products on the order confirmations. This is another step in our efforts to deliver greater transparency and sustainability, helping our customers to make more informed and climate-smart choices.

What is CO_2e?

CO_2e, or carbon dioxide equivalents, is a way of measuring greenhouse gas emissions. Different greenhouse gases have differing impacts on the climate, and CO_2e  converts these into a comparable metric that shows the total climate impact in the form of carbon dioxide grams per unit. This makes it easier to compare emissions from different products.

Why do we show CO_2e per item?

Our aim is to give customers the tools to make more sustainable decisions. CO_2e  per item provides a clear indication of climate impact from every product and makes it simpler to compare the alternatives we offer. However, we would like to remind you that CO_2e  is only one of many environmental aspects to consider when choosing a product.
By making this information available on our order confirmations, we hope to make it easier for our customers to integrate sustainability data into their own climate objectives and business decisions.
